At a Glance Uttar Paschim Union
Baniachang North-Western Union was formed in the year 1943 with the establishment of Chanchard and Topkhana under the first Thorla Chapara. At that time the chairman of the Union was called a village president. During the Pakistan rule in 1950, the title of the president of the village president was announced as the Union Chairman. Haideruzzaman Khan became the first village president in 1984. At present, Baniachang North-west Union Parishad is formed in 25 small villages.
